This amazing lady is so full of talent and if you don't believe us, feel free to check out her blog and have a quick look through her Instagram feed. Prepare to get wowed! :)
Get to know Jeanne!
Hi! I’m Jeanne Jachna! For as long as I can remember, I have loved to craft. I can't resist a new set of stamps, or a rainbow of colors (inks, paper, paint, markers – you name it… I NEED it!). And I love trying new techniques – layering on lots of die-cuts and mixing patterned papers, or staying completely clean and simple.. don't label me. :) My time crafting is a sweet escape and a fun way to express myself. My paper crafting obsession started when I began making scrapbooks to document family vacations, holidays and special memories that I never wanted to forget. After starting my blog in 2011, I started playing along with challenges sponsored by my favorite stamp and die companies. The occasional win helped build my confidence and defer some of the costs of my costly habit. And I got to make friends there too.
Let's check out her projects!
Hi, friends! I’m so glad you stopped by today because, just in time for your holiday crafting, I’m showing FOUR projects made with the Bows & Holiday Flowers Creativity Kit. If you haven’t treated yourself to one of the Altenew Creativity Kits you’ve been missing out.
First Card
This kit included the Holiday Bow Stamp and coordinating die set, three word dies, the Mini Christmas Stamp Set and a big sheet of enamel dots! There’s even an Inspiration Guide full of ideas for different ways to arrange the different images in the set.
I had lots of fun stamping a big pile of poinsettias and all the greenery using luscious shades of Altenew inks perfect for ink layering. Coordinating die-cuts make them a snap to trim. Once you’re done, all that’s left to do is arrange them. This arrangement was layered over the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die.
Second Card
I love bold bright colors, but the real head turners for me are when I spot colors that are unexpected. Here, I layered a Leaf Frame Cover Die over an ombre inked purple distress panel. The purple isn’t a traditional holiday color but it makes the red poinsettias and dark berries pop!
Third Card
I used the pine spring stamped in different shades of green to create a wreath over a distress background inked with the Broken Chevrons Stencil.
A pretty stamped bow tops the wreath and gorgeous florals embellish it. The poinsettias are adhered with adhesive foam tape and the sprigs are tucked in underneath. This adds dimension and made the foliage easier to arrange since the flowers are adhered in place first.
Gift Tag
The Holiday Bow Stamp Set is so versatile and the images look great on everything from a clean white background to a bold stenciled one.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a few gifts from the heart so I thought I’d include a tag too. A tag can dress up the simplest home-baked gift and make it look extra special. I stamped the Mini Christmas sentiment on a Nesting Label die-cut and then layered it over a larger label die cut from red cardstock. Why try to tie a fussy bow when you can stamp one instead? And the flower is so pretty it will steal the show!
Deck the halls with the Bows & Holiday Flowers Creativity Kit. It’s sure to make your season bright! I just can’t get enough of it!
Don't say we didn't warn you about how incredibly awesome Jeanne is! We absolutely LOVE all the projects she created using our Creativity Kit. Which one caught YOUR eye? Comment below! Thank you for being our October 2019 Guest Designer, Jeanne!
