November 2016 Inspiration Challenge

Hello, dear friends!

Welcome to November Inspiration Challenge – Summer in the Winter!

I took this photo at my summer house garden where all trees and flowers were grown by myself and my sister for more than 13 years. I love to watch how every planted tree become higher than me (through the years). This flower is so beautifully colored by nature, and it caught my eye with bright ombre petals.

For the card, I wanted to replicate bokeh leaves to be used as a background, along with bright red and yellow flowers as a focal point. I blended colors for the background with Distress inks using blending tool and then made some splatters on it. Then I used white gel pen to draw the frame.

For the flowers and sentiment, I used the brand new Simple Flowers Stamp Set. I'm in love with this big bold flowers and leaves that look so stylish in any project! I definitely put this set to the list of “must haves.” To stamp these flowers I used the Warm Sunshine Crisp Dye Ink along with the Crimson Crisp Dye Ink.
