Hi there everyone. It's Lydia here today with a no-line watercolour card. Now I have to say that watercolour may be one of my favourite mediums to and colour to images on cards. I love the look it gives and you can use it in so many different ways. From messy, loose and quick, backgrounds or if you want to spend a little more time on it it can be very therapeutic.
I used two stamp sets for the images on this card. As the style is the same in Remember This Stamp Set and Beautiful Day Stamp Set they work so well when mix and matched with each other. I stamped (using a masking technique) the images at the bottom of a piece of watercolour card using a very light Distress Ink. I used this as it disappears almost completely when water is added to it.
Then I worked petal by petal to colour the images. First I added clean water all over the petal. And then dropped in colour to the base. You don't want to work petals that are next to each other. Instead ones that are quite far apart then come back when the first petals are dry. For an Facebook Live Video I recently created you can check HERE.
Once finished I waited for it to dry before adding a sentiment from Beautiful Quotes Stamp Set. Then add the watercolour piece to my card blank.
I really hope you like my no-line watercolour card and that you give it a go yourself. It really is quite therapeutic.
I will see you again soon!
Hugs, Lydia

Wow!! Amazing!!
I just love your card. It is beautiful and the words you chose, perfect. I can’t seem to find that stamp set on the Altenew shop. You said it was “Beautiful Quotes Stamp Set” but that exact quote is not included in the set. Can you let me know where I can get that set? Thanks.
I just went through every single Altenew stamp set and cannot find this sentiment anywhere! I hope Lydia sees our comments and let’s us know where this sentiment comes from! So glad I noticed your comment before just ordering this set for this particular quote! HAGD!
This quote is from the Build an Aster stamp set. Hope this helps!
