Hello, Altenew fans. Rubeena here with a card featuring no-line watercoloring using the Potted Plants Stamp Set, which was part of the October 2018 Stamp & Die Release.
I started working on my base first. I used a sheet of patterned paper from the Celebrations Paper Set from the Celebrate You Kit and die-cut it with the Pegboard Canvas Cover Die. I adhered this to my folded card base.
Next, I stamped three of the plant images and pots from the Potted Plants Stamp Set with Morning Frost Crisp Dye Ink on watercolor paper. After that, I did no-line watercoloring using various green and brown shades of watercolor paints.
I die-cut the images with the coordinating Potted Plants Die Set. Then I mounted them over the base with foam tape for some dimension.
Next, I stamped two of the sentiments (“good morning” and “start your day with a smile on your face”) with clear embossing ink on kraft cardstock and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder. I then trimmed them down and mounted them next to the images with foam tape.
I hope this inspires you to create. Thanks so much for visiting today!

When I first saw the stamp set, I didn’t think much of it, but now–wow! I like how the card is so fresh- and clean-looking with all the white, and the background is totally interesting. I actually didn’t really care for the peg board die, but with the twist of all the lines, the background went to a new level. I love the color combo of the plants and planters, and how two sentiments are cock-eyed. I’m impressed with this card. Good job… great job.
Great card. Love the stamps and dies.
