Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here and today I would like to share with you a little festive inspiration for a garden enthusiast made with a no-line coloring technique and the Garden Grow Stamp Set and coordinating dies.
It’s a perfect stamp set for any avid gardener, as it has many detailed images from potted plants to gardening tools, up to little critters that you may find in a garden. I love that the images are drawn in a sketchy style and they are easy and fun to color!
For today’s card, I used a no-line coloring technique for a lovely soft look.
How to Create a Gardening-Themed Card with a No-Line Coloring Technique
I started by using a patterned paper from Celebrations 6×6 Paper Pack to create my background. Next, I stamped my elements from the Garden Grow Stamp Set with Silver Stone Crisp Dye Ink onto white cardstock for a very light impression so that when the coloring is finished, you cannot see the outlines of the stamped images.
I colored my stamped pieces with the following Altenew Artist Alcohol Markers: Moss, Olive, Parrot, Pure Graphite, Industrial Diamond, Silver Stone, and Limestone from Tropical Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set E, Rubellite and Razzleberry from Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set F, Hazelnut and Almond Butter from Water Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set G.
I placed all the images onto my card and added some small, uncolored elements for a contrasting look.
As a final step, I stamped my sentiment with Permanent Black Crisp Dye Ink.
I hope this card will bring joy to my friend, who loves gardening, and I hope it gives YOU some ideas you might need for the gardeners in your life. Will you give this no-line coloring technique a try? Let me know in the comment section!
Thank you for stopping by today!
