Our Video Inspiration Team aims to inspire you to create one-of-a-kind handmade projects using our products in a quick, easy, and hassle-free way! Each daily video tutorial is short, fun, and jam-packed with useful tips and tricks to help you enhance your crafting skills – whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced crafter.

Without further ado, we would like to introduce two incredibly talented designers who will be part of Altenew's Video Inspiration Team!
Amber Rain Davis – Color Connection with Amber – COMING SOON!
Color Connection with Amber is a video series devoted to jumpstarting your creativity with color. In each episode, we will create projects with the color palette featured in the Altenew Monthly Inspiration Challenge. Learn tips and techniques to combine colors in unexpected ways. The possibilities are endless with Altenew's line of color-coordinated inks, sprays, watercolor, markers, washi tapes, paper, and more. Harness the full potential of your mediums and connect with Amber through color!
Amber, born in Mississippi, grew up outside of Washington, D.C. She, her husband, and 3 daughters reside in Southern California, where they enjoy every moment of sunshine and outdoor living. When she isn’t crafting, you’ll find Amber on the soccer field or basketball court with her girls. Amber has been artistic for as long as she can remember. She is a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) who discovered stamping and cardmaking in 2017. She embraced her new pleasure and became a Certified Altenew Educator in 2018. Her style is inspired by bold colors, high contrast, and experimenting with supplies. Amber is passionate about sharing tips and techniques with you and the crafting community.

Nicole Watt – Sketch Starters with Nicole – COMING SOON!
Sketch Starters with Nicole is a series for beginner and experienced cardmakers that helps you get started on a project using a basic card sketch. Based on her Altenew Academy class “Mission: Inspiration”, each video uses a new, thoughtfully designed sketch created by Nicole. She will show you one card that takes the sketch literally, and one that uses the sketch more for inspiration. As a bonus, the sketch image will be linked in each video for you to save and use as inspiration whenever you're looking for the perfect layout to kickstart your next project.
A proud US Air Force Veteran, Nicole currently lives in the Omaha, Nebraska area with her USAF retired husband and two cats. She is a full-time web and graphic design business owner, but, when she wants to escape from computer pixels, she goes to her basement craft retreat to work on card designs for hours on end. Nicole has been blogging since 2010 and creating video content on YouTube since 2014. She is a style chameleon; changing and adapting to any fun and new idea that comes to her mind. Some days she’s clean & simple, and other days, layered & complex. But, most of all, she loves inspiring, sharing and educating through videos to help you gain confidence in the art of paper crafting.

How exciting! First of all, I love ?that the Altenew family keeps growing and with it the sources of creativity expand?.I am already addicted to Lydia´s Crafty Corner, Terese’s Take 2, and Erum’s Creative Coloring series. I just started binge watching Jaycee´s and Ashlea’s series and I want to THANK all of them for the time taken to create these inspiring videos. I am always excited to see what new creations they will share, as their videos always help me push myself to create more, they are always easy to follow and full of great tips. I am looking forward to start watching Amber’s and Nicole‘s series, they are very talented and great instructors too! I was first fell in love with Altenew by watching several video’s, and after I bought my first ever layered set I was hooked. I would much rather learn by video than by reading, as sometimes techniques for me are easier to achieve by watching. I visit Lydia’s and Terese’s blogs often, and LOVE LOVE their style and amazing art work. I just discovered Jaycee on one of Altenew’s blog hops and was blown away! And Erum makes my favourite cards!

Mission: Inspiration was a well planned and wonderfully explained class by Nicole Watt. I think it’s a must watch for anyone struggling to translate concepts into a complete card design. Her videos and instructions are so easy to follow. I can’t wait for Amber’s new feature section. She has an amazing eye for color and such a fun style to her videos. I’m still new to cardmaking and don’t have much in the way of supplies. I just got my first two mini ink sets, so I’ll keep watching for now, joining in when I can, and adding to my stash. Thanks for all the help along the way and welcome!
