A gift idea with Sketchy cities

by Sveta Fotinia

Hello everyone!

Sveta is here and I'm going to share two similar cards with the Sketchy Cities  America and the Sketchy Cities America 2 stamp sets along with the Bejeweled stamp set.

When I saw these landscape cities stamps first – I fell in love with them! However when I received them I was a little bit confused as our Design Team members (past and present) and our readers and customers  have created so many cards already and shared so many different ideas!! So here's another idea for you and also an example that you shouldn't be afraid of experiments. While brain storming with these sets I remembered young people in love who promise to give the world to their beloved, and decided to make a card with an opportunity to gift at least one city! Such cards would be perfect to give someone tickets to their dream destination or a romantic cruise maybe, or simply a walk for two in your native city.

These cards are really simple and quick – you can check it in my video tutorial here or on Altenew's YouTube channel.

Thanks a lot for being with us!

Very clever! This would be great for a guest staying at your house. You could have a basket with maps and tickets to put into the guest bedroom when they arrive.

Love the thought behind these cards…charming. Your execution of the idea is flawless. Especially clever is the way you cut the skyline to fit your card front…brilliant.

Wonderful design work!!! Seeing the difference in the two sides of the bow – shaded/not shaded – gives me courage to try deeper shading colors…the bow was gorgeous! Your video tutorial was perfect…thanks for all your work!
