New Baby Card with Stamped Background and Custom Sentiment

by Aga

Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here, and today I would like to share a simple New Baby, floral stamped background card using Botanical Wreath Builder Stamp Set and Inline Alpha Die Set.

Creating a background with small stamps is one of my favorite stamping techniques. It’s a relaxing and fun activity to make a big pattern with a small image. Other things that I love using are alpha die sets to create my custom sentiments. They are great for creating monograms and names or for extra special sentiments when I don’t have a stamp that says what I need to say.

I combined a stamped background and a custom sentiment created with alpha dies for today’s card.

I started by stamping a small image from Botanical Wreath Builder Stamp Set with Obsidian Pigment Ink to create my background. Next, I used Altenew Artist Markers to add some color. I used Dusk and Dessert Night from Artist Alcohol Markers Cool Summer Night Set along with Grass Field from Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set F.

Once the background was ready, I used letters from Inline Alpha Die Set to create my sentiment. I die-cut BABY BOY out of white cardstock, used Desert Night marker to color the letters, and added them to the card front with foam tape for a little dimension.
