New 2021 #AltenewFloweroftheMonth Social Media Challenge

The 2021 surprises just keep coming! We have a thrilling announcement to make today featuring a brand-new monthly challenge we are launching this year. Make way for our #AltenewFloweroftheMonth challenge.

As you know, at Altenew, we are all about flowers, so we thought that it was only fitting to celebrate 2021 by honoring the gorgeous florals you love.

Each month, we will focus on one flower and challenge you to create your own paper crafted creations with an Altenew product featuring that flower all month long. You may create a handmade card, scrapbook layout, journal page, home decor piece, or any other project of your choice.

Then, post your projects on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #AltenewFloweroftheMonth for the chance to win one of three $30 gift certificates to the Altenew shop. (Your account should be public so we can see your entries.) There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit. The more projects you create, the more chances you have to win! Be sure to use Altenew products for your projects, and submit your entries by January 31, 2021.

This month we are featuring CARNATIONS, the January birth flower and 1st wedding anniversary flower.

With their ruffled appearance and classic beauty, these flowers possess a charm and allure that continues to captivate people around the globe. The meaning of the word “carnation” includes fascination, distinction, and love. Its use in art and decor dates back to ancient Greek and Roman times. Carnations may come in the colors white, red, purple, pink, and green. They are worn on Mother's Day, teacher's day, and St. Patrick's Day.
