Hi friends,
Svitlana is here. Today I want to share yet another card made using only heat embossing and a bit of inking. To be honest only now I realized that I used only heat embossing in my previous post here on Altenew blog ;)
For my card I used very beautiful Winter Clouds Cardstock. I'm not sure of what exact color it is, but for me it looks very cool. Temperature wise.
To start off I created an A2 card base out of this cardstock. And then white embossed a floral design in the top part of it using stamps from Garden Treasure Stamp Set and Pure White Embossing Powder.
I also white embossed several images onto the same cardstock and die-cut them using the matching dies.
Then I slightly inked the top part of the panel using Soft Lilac Ink.
I white embossed a sentiment from Floral Frame Stamp Set set onto the card and foam mounted die-cut elements.
To finish off the card I added several dots here and there with white gel pen.
I'm glad that I decided to do ink blending onto a card base, it makes the foam mounted elements pop up more.
And I like the monochromatic look of the card as well.

Svitlana, this card is simply exquisite. Great “cool” color with the added shade. It works perfectly with the white stamping and embossing. tfs
