Hello, crafty friends!
Svitlana is here. Today, I'd like to showcase the exquisite Craft-A-Flower: Garden Rose Layering Die Set through the card I'm presenting. I opted for a multi-dimensional and monochromatic motif for this creation to highlight the beautiful garden rose!
Crafting the Garden Rose
I started by die-cutting all the layers for the future flowers out of the Frosty Pink Cardstock from the Red Cosmos Gradient Cardstock Set.
Subsequently, I applied shading to each element by smoothly blending in the Coral Berry Dye Ink.
Afterward, I constructed the garden rose by layering and securing them together using the liquid adhesive.
I opted to enhance the flowers by introducing coloring with Woodless Pencils.
I preferred using pencils as my chosen coloring medium because they enabled me to utilize only a tiny quantity of water, precisely what I required for this situation. This was especially fitting because the flowers were crafted from lighter cardstock and were already assembled.
I used the Ruby Red and Jet Black pencils to color the flowers, and the Shadow Creek and Jet Black pencils were used to color the leaves.
After finishing all my die-cut elements, I adhered them onto a dark red panel and added the Pure White Ink Spray splatters.
Lastly, I popped up the sentiment label onto the card. White embossing stamps made the label from the Thank You Builder Stamp Set onto a Jet Black Cardstock stripe.
