Monochromatic Card With Build-A-Flower Coral Charm

by Erum Tasneem

Hello everyone! I have a quick card to share with you using the Build-A-Flower Coral Charm Stamp Set. This is my first time using this set and it's SO gorgeous and quite easy to stamp too. I love that the Build-A-Flower sets come in stamp-die combo.

First, let's start with the card front. I roughly inked it with distress stain in Chipped Sapphire. You can also use our Sapphire Crisp Dye Ink but I wanted a bit of texture and not-so-smooth looking background hence the use of stain here.

Then I used Grid Stencil on the background with white ink, very lightly. I also added some white paint splatters to the background.

Second step was the stamping of flowers. I used Permanent Black Crisp Dye Ink to stamp my images on Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Then I used just two layer stamps to add the details (skipped the full coverage layer).

The ink colours I used are Silver Stone, Industrial Diamond and Pure Graphite from the Rock Collection Mini Ink Cube Set. To add a bit of interest, I added Pure Graphite selectively and not on the whole layer.

I used the coordinating dies to die cut the stamps, added pencil details to the flower bunches and arranged them in a bouquet.

I love the Altenew Glitter Tapes and here the silver makes the card look elegant.

This came together rather quickly. The Coral Charm Stamp Set is beautiful and I am really enjoying layered stamping!

Thank you for stopping by! See you soon x

Wowza! Meaning this card is a stunner! You don’t often see cards using blue sapphire color(s) which make is an eye catcher to start. But the white flowers to me make it all pop. Beautiful.
