We are thrilled to introduce Altenew's Video Inspiration Team!

Altenew is all about inspiration. Our goal is to create beautiful and elegant crafting products while providing project inspiration. We understand that while blog posts are very helpful in sparking your creativity, there is still something special about a process video. Watching a quick video tutorial on cardmaking is the easiest way to learn a new skill, understand a technique better, get a close-up look of products used, and create your projects at your own pace.

In this fast-paced world, we know that many of you are on-the-go and don't always have time to read through blogs. Altenew's Video Inspiration Team aims to inspire you to create one-of-a-kind handmade projects using our products in a quick, easy, and hassle-free way! Each daily video tutorial is short, fun, and jam-packed with useful tips and tricks to help you enhance your crafting skills – whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced crafter.

Without further ado, we would like to introduce the incredibly talented designers who will be part of Altenew's Video Inspiration Team!

Lydia Evans – Lydia's Crafty Corner

This amazing designer doesn't really need an introduction! We adore her, you adore her – we ALL adore her! Lydia's Crafty Corner started back in November 2017 and since then she has been sharing beautiful and innovative cardmaking techniques in her lovely crafty corner. Therese Calvird – Take 2 with Therese

Back in November 2018, we've unveiled Take 2 with Therese featuring creations by the talented Therese Calvird. Every week, Therese showcases the beauty and versatility of various Altenew products by creating two different cards using either the same product, technique, elements, or colors. She always comes up with such gorgeous and creative projects! Don't miss out on Take 2 with Therese twice a month at 9 AM EST/EDT.

Erum Tasneem – Creative Coloring with Erum

Raise your hand if you are a big fan of Erum's coloring skill! Due to insistent demand, Creative Coloring with Erum started! Whether you're a beginner in coloring or an advanced colorist, Erum's colored/watercolored projects will never cease to amaze you. She features various coloring mediums, techniques, and skills, and every tutorial will leave you craving for more! Make sure you catch Creative Coloring with Erum every Monday at 9 AM EST/EDT.

Ashlea Cornell – Lovely Layering with Ashlea – Coming Soon!

Ashlea lives just outside of Boston, MA with her husband and two small children. Growing up she was always interested in arts and crafts but was only introduced to stamping in 2017. Since then, she has developed a real passion for stamping and card making, focusing mostly on clean and simple designs with pops of color or patterns. Ashlea loves keeping her techniques and designs fresh and new, and enjoys sharing what she's learned with the crafting community. Lovely Layering with Ashlea is a series for every level card-maker/paper crafter. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned crafter, you’ll enjoy learning tips on creating interest and dimension within your designs as well as perfecting and elevating your layered stamping. This series will kickstart ideas, give inspiration, and help you find confidence in your ability to create beautifully contrived designs.

Jaycee Gaspar – Perfect Pairings with Jaycee – Coming Soon!

Jaycee Gaspar is a military brat born in Alabama and has called Colorado home since 2002 after years of living overseas. He is a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist specializing in DNA testing of infectious diseases. During his time away from the lab, Jaycee is grateful for the time to exercise creativity in card making and other paper crafting projects since 2015. His design style is inspired by street art, graphic design, and geometry with deliberate details and composition. His range of creativity also encompasses photography, painting, drawing, and now video editing. Check out Jaycee's beautiful creations on his blog, YouTube channel, and Instagram page.

Perfect Pairings with Jaycee is a video product showcase feature with a twist. Jaycee will use one NEW Altenew item from the current month's release and pair the product with an OLD Altenew item from the previous month or older. This video feature is a play on the Altenew brand; “the juxtaposition of classical and contemporary designs.” The new item featured in the twice-monthly video feature will be from the stamp/die/stencil release followed by the washi tape/stand-alone dies release from Altenew. Jaycee is excited to inspire viewers to shop their current Altenew stash or discover new favorites in the Altenew online store.
