Hello friends! Erum here and I have a card to share with you that I made with Blooming Bouquet Stamp Set.
In addition to a large bouquet stamp in the Blooming Bouquet Stamp Set, there are some smaller stamps to build your own floral spray. Today, I will be focusing on the other stamps in this set.
First of all, I made masks of the flowers I was going to use. Next, I stamped the bigger of the two single flowers with Permanent Black Ink . Especially relevant, you need to have a sense of where your flowers would go. Because you will have to leave a bit of space for leaves if you are placing your floral spray in a corner like I did.
I then masked the stamped flower and stamped it again where I had visualize it would go. Then, I masked the second flower as well. Now, both my flower masks in place, I started to add the leaves.
There are two pairs of leaves and three single leaves in this stamp set. I used all five where they would fit perfectly.
The Artist Markers colours I used are as follows:
- Flowers: Sea Glass, Ocean Waves
- Leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen
- Shadows: Morning Frost
As a result of stamping on one level, I had to rely on shadows to add depth and dimension to my image. So, I took out the new Artist Marker from Set B, Morning Frost, and added shadows. As a result, we now have depth and it looks like the image is popping off of the card!
When you are doing something like this, a big bold sentiment is the perfect way to go and I have noticed that it looks quite nice if you cover part of the image. So, I stamped the beautifully written “hello” onto the card front covering just a tiny bit of the floral spray.
Also, I went back and added a few tiny dots stamps as fillers plus a few grey splatters here and there.
While I was adding yellow to the smallest flower,my marker slipped and I had a blob of yellow. Therefore, I decided to add a few Buttercream and Frayed Leaf dots here and there (like sweet May does in her cards). The card needed some bling. Hence, I added a few sequins and I was done.
Probably not the quickest card to make, but it does not look bad! I hope you liked it. I tried to explain all the steps clearly. In case I missed anything, please feel free to ask in the comments.
BIG hugs,
Erum

Erum, you have explained your design process clearly and concisely. I could follow each step. Even though you say you made mistakes (or slipped), you were able to demonstrate to us crafters how you put this right on your project without having to start again. So thank you once again for demonstrating your skills and talent to us.
Lorraine, you are awesome! Thank you ♥
