Get to know Vicky!

I live in Greece with my husband, my two kids, and my cat Ginger! I love cardmaking and art journaling and I share my creations on my blog and my YouTube channel. My YouTube channel has been a great success over the years with a growing number of followers and that really helped me switch from a full-time high school teacher into a full-time independent designer and mixed media artist. I am finally doing what I love most, sharing my art with fellow crafters online, and I also teach live workshops all over the world.

Vicky's Floral “Thank You” Card

Today I am sharing a lovely flower card. The “Garden Picks 3D Die Set” is an absolute favorite as it creates dimensional flowers in no time that look gorgeous.

You can cut out the layers using colored cardstock or even patterned paper. I went with white cardstock which gives me endless possibilities since I can then color them with my markers.

I used the purple shades of Altenew Artist Markers from Set D and the results are stunning. In the set, there are also available leaves but I went with another stamp set to create a bigger impact! I stamped the largest of the designs from the “Baroque Motifs Stamp Set” with Firefly Crisp Dye Ink. Then I used the matching die to cut it out.

The card is really versatile and can be used for any occasion since it features flowers. I decided to go with a lovely thank you sentiment from the “Build-A-Flower: Japanese Mum” set.

Oh my!!! How beautiful is that card?! You truly are a phenomenal designer, Vicky! Thank you for being our March Guest Designer.
