Hello everyone and happy Friday! It's Lydia here again with you sharing a fun technique with alcohol markers.
To start, I stamped the large image from Charmed Stamp Set onto vellum in using Stazon Black ink for one image, Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder for the second image, and Rose Gold Embossing Powder for the third. Once all the images were stamped, I then flipped them over so I could color on the backside. This will give a softer look and you won't need to worry about coloring and staining your stamped lines.
I used Artist Markers to color the images – Lavender Fields, Deep Iris, and Caribbean Sky for the petals, Caramel Toffee and Warm Sunshine for the flower centers, and Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades for the leaves. I colored the images quite quickly in a loose style, don't worry if your coloring looks blotchy as when you turn the images over the vellum will help soften this. Once I had colored the images, I then fussy cut around them.
To finish, I stamped sentiments from Cotton Comfort Stamp Set onto some white cardstock using Jet Black Ink. I just love the sentiments in this set, they stamp so crisp and clean and can be used for so many different occasions.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you again real soon!

This is WONDERFUL! I can’t wait to try it.
I haven’t yet tried this technique on vellum. Loving the rose gold embossing. Really nice.
