Lydia’s Crafty Corner – Subtle Dry Embossed Sentiments

by Lydia Evans

Hello there everyone and happy Friday! It's Lydia here sharing a fun way to add subtle sentiments to your projects.

DSC00835I started by stamping three panels using Crown Bloom Stamp Set. For the first panel, I used Pink Pearl and Coral Bliss for the flower petals and Dew Drops and Aqualicious Inks for the flower centers, for the next panel, I used Volcano Lake and Lagoon for the flower petals and Sunkissed and Orange Cream for the centers, and for the last panel, I used Buttercream and Warm Sunshine for the petals and Pink Diamond and Pinkalicious for the centers. I left the leaves white so the flowers would pop more.

DSC00837I then used Inline Alpha Die Set to emboss my sentiment into place. I just love how the look is so subtle and classy and yet fun and different.

Beautiful cards and a fabulous technique to having a sentiment that doesn’t take the focus off the images. Your flowers are just gorgeous!
