Hi there everyone! Happy Friday! Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing a way you can stretch your supplies by making your very own stamps using dies and foam.
I started by cutting the elements I wanted from foam. For the sentiment I cut h,e,l and o from Bold Alphabet Die Set. And for the flowers and leaves I used images from Craft-A-Flower: Daisy. So once these were cut all I need to do then was to add these to my stamping block using a little of the Altenew Glue Tape. When this is done I can then use these as I would any other stamp. For the flower I used Buttercream and Sunray Inks for the petals and Snapdragon and Marigold Inks for the flower centers. Firefly and Grass Field Inks were used for the leaves and Obsidian Ink for the sentiment.
Its just so easy to create your own stamps in this way! And I'm sure you will be looking at all of your dies in a different way to see which ones you will use to create your own DIY stamps!
To see how this cad came together please watch the video below. Or over on YouTube:
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Never thought of making your own stamps but what a great technique. Thanks for sharing that with us!
What a great idea!! Have to see if I have foam so that I can try this. I have a lot of Altenew stamps/dies and just love them.
I will. Try this today. I too love the daisy die. This is beautiful. What a great way to stretch our dies.
Thanks for such a great idea! This adds so much variety to how we stamp. Who says craft foam is just for kids’ crafts?
Great video detailing the process. The foam cut outs make great impressions with the use of the inks. Nice way to expand supply use.
