Hello there, everyone! Happy Friday! Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing a fun way to add a little dimension and interest using nesting frame dies.
I started by stamping the outline from Blossom Wreath Stamp Set onto a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of Watercolor Cardstock and a panel of the same size of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink. I used my Misti so the images were in the same place on both of the panels.
I then use the Artist Watercolor 24 Pan Set to color the stamped image on the watercolor panel. I used dies from Soda Top Nesting Die Set to cut out both of the panels. To make sure that I cut both panels the same, I adhered the dies to a piece of acetate so I could use this as a guide when die cutting.
I swapped the pieces of the panels around so I would have a colored and black and white piece on both of the panels. I just love how this looks! I adhered the die-cut panel and sentiment piece of both of the panels flat onto 2 card bases. Then, I added the wreath piece using foam tape for dimension.

Beautiful cards!!!
So pretty and making two cards out of one. Love it. That would work well now for mass producing thank you cards. HMMM!
Great idea for die use to make two cards. I like the tip shared to use the acetate to line up the dies for each cut. Wonderful share.
I love this stamp set!
