Live In The Moment Card Set Inspired By Instax Mini 8 With Capture Moments Stamp Set

Hi, Debby here today with a clean and graphic card and tag trio using the Capture Moments set. This stamp set was inspired by the Instax mini 8 camera. In turn I was inspired by the Fujifilm advert for the camera using bold circles of colour behind the camera body.

I stamped the camera image in black ink on white card three times. After this I created masks slightly bigger than the images by stamping the camera on masking paper and trimming just slightly outside of the outline. Then I placed the masks over the camera images and blended inks through a circle die cut from more masking paper.

To get the feel of the Fujifilm advert I chose bright ice cream colours – Warm Sunshine, Coral Berry and Caribbean Sky. Next I die cut the cameras out with another slightly larger circle die.

I mounted two of the circles on white panels splattered with black. Also I stamped sentiments from the Be Strong set. I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Simple Flowers set on black card.  I trimmed these down to skinny strips before layering them over the camera circles.

For the card bases I used black card and foam mounted the finished panels to them. As a finishing touch I added a few enamel dots from the New Day Card Kit to accent. I used the final camera circle as a tag, punching a hole and threading with black twine.
