Layered Floral Background – Video!

by Therese Calvird

Hi, it's Therese and I am so happy to share a layered floral background with you today.
If you know me then you know that I adore Altenew's layering floral stamps.  The Floral Fantasy Stamp Set is gorgeous and I want a whole card front using this stamp set!

The layers that I used for the large flowers were Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Purple Wine and Lava Rock Crisp Inks.  The smaller flower used Sunkissed, Caramel Toffee and Paper Bag Crisp Inks.

I stamped the sentiment from Super Script 2 Stamp Set using Lava Rock before adding the Script Words Die cut ‘love' from Woodgrain Bark Cardstock.

Here is the video showing you how the card came together.  You can see the video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

Gorgeous! I might not have started with this color palette but when Therese uses it, it comes out beautifully! I usually want to use my favorite colors and get in a rut! Thanks Therese for the great design and use of color!

This unique color palette makes a gorgeous background even more lovely because it is unexpected! Absolute perfection in my opinion! TFS!
