Hi friends,
Svitlana is here today. Mother's Day is around the corner and I'm sure we all prepared cards for important women in our lives. But I'm still want to share a couple of ideas for such cards. Which of course can be utilized for any other purpose.
I cannot say, that they are quick and easy 10-minutes to make ones. But they're definitely on a simpler side.
The first card is a stubborn to take photo of. As it has kind of hidden sentiment on it – dry embossed with dies MOM word. I had to sacrifice brightness of my photos to make it actually visible :)
First I dry embossed the word using alpha dies from Bold Alphabet Die Set onto a Solar White Cardstock panel.
Next I stamped a dahlia flower with leaves using stamps from Dahlia Blossoms Stamp Set and Ruby Red, Puffy Heart, Evergreen, Forest Glades Dye Inks and cut it out using scissors. Part of O and M letters were also dry embossed in this cut piece.
The flower was foam mounted onto the panel, with dry embossed letters aligned.
On that point I wanted to add some accents, as my card happened to be too clean for me lol. So I added some ink droplets using small brush.
The panel was foam mounted onto a white card base. To finish my card off I added several Marshmallow and Crystal Clear sequins of different sizes.
For my second card I first stamped a couple of azaleas using stamps from Springtime Azalea Stamp Set using Cotton Candy, Ruby Red, Industrial Diamond, Evergreen and Forest Glades Dye Inks onto a Solar White Cardstock panel.
I made several die-cuts of M and O letters out of Solar White Cardstock (5 for O and 10 for M) and made DIY-chipboards for 2 Ms and O adhering them together. After that I adhered them onto the panel. Which was foam mounted onto a white card base after.
Several clear droplets finished off my card.
As I mentioned before, they're weren't the fastest cards to make. First of all because I used multi-layered stamping which can take some time (not a lot but still). But it was just my choice. For these designs any images will work.
Have a wonderful day and Mother's Day weekend!
