Hello, and welcome to our Mixed Media Ink Lovers Blog Hop + Giveaway! In today's hop, we are celebrating our Mixed Media Inks for all of you ink lovers out there!
Our mixed media ink can be used on lots of porous surfaces, such as paper, fabric, wood, and more! This pigment ink is water-based and will leave a gorgeous detailed impression every time.
Best of all, you don't have to worry about the ink fading. It becomes permanent once heat set with a heat gun or iron (on fabric, add an additional cloth layer between the iron and your project.) This ink is acid-free and archival, which means your projects will remain intact and well-preserved for a long, long time!
We have started this brand-new product category, Mixed Media Inks, with some of our most well-loved colors from the Green Fields and Red Cosmos color families. Our designers have had an amazing time experimenting with these inks, and we know you will too! The possibilities are endless!
I had a set of cork trivets that I got from Ikea YEARS ago, and have been saving them until I found the right project. When I got our Mixed Media Inks, I knew it was finally time to use one!
I stamped the bird from the Birds of a Feather Stamp Set in Frosty Pink, Coral Berry, and Ruby Red Mixed Media Inks. Since I started with the lightest color (and didn't heat set yet), it made the other colors appear lighter. I love the effect! The branch was stamped in Jet Black Mixed Media Ink, as were the bird's eye, beak, and feet.
Next, I grabbed the Wild Ferns Stamp Set and used Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen to add some greenery to the top and sides of the trivet. When the design was complete, I blasted it all with my heat gun to set the ink. I LOVE that this can either be used as a trivet or as a cute little corkboard!

Thank you for your blog & I can’t wait to learn new techniques.
Ooooo!! Stamping on things mom said were not for art!! Endless opportunities. . .glass, handbags, totes, little pouches filled with sachet!! But we should probably not stamp the dog’s dish, the kitchen table, toilet seat . . . .
I had to have these as soon as they came out! I am not disappointed! I used. Cork on one of my projects, too! Love the bird trivets!
