I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese. Today, I'm sharing how to make 2 very different cards using the wonderful Dotted Geo Cover Die!

Dotted Geo Cover Die
Add some pizzazz to your projects with this NEW cover die! This unique cover die is designed to cover the front of an A2-sized card. Instead of cutting through the cardstock, a dotted line pattern is debossed into the surface. This is the perfect way to add subtle texture to your next project!
I want to show that you can use this cover die as more than just a simple pattern in your card's background.
Idea # 1 – Floral Window Card
I started with an integrated floral design. I blended and stamped the flowers from the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Lush Garden to create the background.
And to create the window in the center for the sentiment, I used Masking Paper die cut with the Fine Rings: Circles Die Set.
Then, I added a sentiment from the Versatile Greetings Die Set. But I was also able to add a sub-sentiment thanks to the open center design of this cover die.
Idea # 2 – Blended Background Card
For my second design, I decided to create a bright blended background using some Crisp Dye Inks. I love the way that the blending picks up the debossed pattern of this cover die.
I also added silhouette butterflies to both cards, which are from the Meadow Reflections Bundle.
But this time, I used a negative die-cut sentiment from the Bold Greetings Die Set.
