Hello there, everyone! Happy Friday! Today, I'll be sharing a fun and festive card that is all about the sentiment. I don't know why, but ‘MERRY & BRIGHT' has to be my favorite holiday sentiment; just hearing it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. So that's why I decided to make it the focal point on my card today.
I started by cutting Mega Ampersand Die into place onto a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of white cardstock to use as a window. I stamped images from Piles of Presents Stamp Set to peek through. For the images, I used Coral Berry, Ruby Red, Baby Pink, Fuchsia, Grass Field, Mountain Pine, Volcano Lake, and Lagoon Inks to stamp the cute little presents. Once stamped, I used Embossing Ink and Rose Gold Embossing Powder to add the twine before die cutting with the coordinating dies.
When I had my cute little die-cuts, I used the die-cut panel to draw around the ampersand onto my card base to use as a guide. With this guide in place, I adhered the die-cut images using foam tape. Then, I added the die-cut panel over the top.
For the rest of the sentiment, I cut the letters I needed from Tall Alpha Die Set from Gold Foil Cardstock. Then, I used a ruler to line up the pieces before adhering them into place using glue tape.
