Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese. Today's post is a Stamp Focus using the beautiful Festive Floral Frame Stamp Set.
I decided to share 2 cards today showing how a frame stamp can be used in 2 different ways. The first card uses just a portion of the stamp as a corner highlight. Then, I added a watercolor wash using the Watercolor Brush Markers and the Watercolor Brush Marker Refills.
I added a sentiment from the Plentiful Pine Stamp Set to both of the designs.
My second design is much busier as I used the frame to create a repeated pattern.
I think it can be fun to create festive cards in non-traditional colors.
And, as a final touch, I added some Antique Gold Sequins to both cards.
To see how I created these cards, you can watch my video here or watch it in HD on YouTube.

Wow!!! I LOVE your cards Therese!!!! Gorgeous!!!
thanks so much Maureen!
I love the card exactly as you made it. The added water really amped it up and made it gorgeous. Definitely not black & white.
I’m glad you liked the ‘washy’ look too Sandy!
Loved your cards. Thanks so much for the great ideas.
thank you Diane!
Oh my gosh! I absolutely love these cards. Love the way you used the frames!
Thanks so much Nancy!
This is a super clever idea to use stamps differently. I like the colors but personally would not have made the colors run! Thanks so much for your videos and all you share!
Yes, there were 3 moments where these cards could have been…. maybe I should have made all 3 versions of each lol. thanks so much Maureen!
This is a lovely stamp set. I have to check my “stash” to see if I have any frame stamps and try this.
Hope you have fun with it Patricia!
