The Gift of Handmade

There's a unique warmth and thoughtfulness that comes with receiving a DIY greeting card. Unlike store-bought cards, handmade ones are crafted with care and attention to detail. Whether it's through intricate designs, hand-written messages, or personalized elements, the effort put into making a card makes it all the more meaningful and personal. Each card becomes a tangible expression of the sender's creativity and affection, making it a cherished keepsake for the recipient.

I ‘ve been sending/delivering diy cards since pre-covid to those who were sick, shut-in, depressed, etc. I used to write my inside message on post-it notes so the recipients could pay-it-forward to others. My recipients said they keep the cards for themselves as it came at a time they needed an uplift. So I dropped post-it notes.

Beautiful cards in this post! Thanks for the inspiration! I send out handmade cards regularly but don’t have a particular technique I use. I like fun fold cards, so I make a lot of these.
