Hello everyone! I’m Kristina Pokazanieva from Russia. I live in Saint-Petersburg with my lovely family and two adorable yorkie puppies. My first experience in cardmaking was 2015, when I made a card for my boyfriend. But only in 2016 cardmaking became my major hobby. I love floral cards, soft pastel colors, watercolors, pencils, markers and all about coloring. Watercolor cards it’s a kind of art for me.

Kristina's first project is a real show-stopper:

Altenew AmazingYou Kristina Pokazanieva 1

For my first card I’m using Amazing You stamp set. I absolutely love the roses from this set. I started with stamping the images on watercolor cardstock, using Altenew Crisp Dye Inks. I used Ruby Red ink for the flowers and Evergreen ink for the leaves. Then I began to add colors and shadows using my watercolors.

Altenew AmazingYou Kristina Pokazanieva 2I also added extra definition to the shadows with Faber-Castell pencils. I used a color combination of light pink, peach and light green and lightly watercolored the background and then splattered with paint. Then I stamped the sentiment and added a few sequins as a final touch.

We love that Kristina used a mix different colouring mediums to create so much depth and texture on the roses and leaves from Amazing You Stamp Set. Showing that you don't just need to stick to one colouring medium you can really mix it up!

Kristina's 2nd project is as lovely as the 1st:

Altenew HibiscusBouquet Kristina Pokazanieva 1For my second card, I used Hibiscus Bouquet stamp set. This set is gorgeous and versatile. I’m sure that I’ll make a lot of cards with these beautiful flowers. First, I stamped the flowers from set in Midnight Violet ink.  Then I stamped the leaves in Frayed Leaf ink using a masking technique.

Altenew HibiscusBouquet Kristina Pokazanieva 2I colored images with watercolors, and added some details to make flowers more realistic, using Faber Castell pencils. Then I stamped a sentiment in black ink and sprinkled with sequins and clear droplets to finish my card.

We are in awe of Kristina's colouring skills! Also the blue in the background really makes the images from Hibiscus Bouquet jump right off the page.

Last but not least Kristina's last project is just as gorgeous as the others:

Altenew HydrangeaBloom Kristina Pokazanieva 1I’m a huge Marika Rahtu fun and I was inspired her amazing coloring technique for my third card. I stamped the flowers and the leaves from Garden Hydrangea stamp set using Frosty Pink ink for the flowers and Forest Glades ink for the leaves. I colored images with Altenew Artist Markers set A, and added details using Faber-Castell pencils.

Altenew HydrangeaBloom Kristina Pokazanieva 2It took a little time, but the final result was great! To finish my card I stamped one of the sentiments from  Amazing You Stamp Set in Clear Embossing ink and gold heat embossed on Ivory cardstock, trimmed a banner to layer over the flowers and added few sequins as a final touch.

Each card is more stunning then the next. I looked at the first one and thought it was beautiful, then I saw the second one, and the third one and I couldn’t believe how beautiful each one was. Wow! Someday I will make cards as beautiful as yours.
