Hi, it's Marika here! I'm featuring the new Golden Garden set and giving some inspiration how to use it. In my first card, I stayed in my comforst zone – I stamped, coloured and that's it. Here is my card:

Stamps and dies used: Golden Garden, Halftone Hello and co-ordianationg die and Sentiments and Quotes.
—
I stamped the flowers first with Altenew Frosty Pink ink. – for the leaves I used Frayed Leaf. I did quite a lot of masking to get the composition as it is seen in the picture. Then I coloured the images with comic markers. After colouring I added some doodling around the flowers to retain some contrast. This way you are able to make all the three flowers different allthough they were stamped with the same stamp. I used Grapevine ink to stamp the cluster of berries to gain more interest to the card. I stamped Altenew Jet Black ink the the Halftone Hello sentiment and die cut it with the co-ordinating die. I stamped with the second sentiment black pigment ink onto a black card stock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I cut it to fit to my card and glued it in place. To achieve some detail, I cut off the panel from the right side leaving a few leaves and pedals to hang over and adhered a red border of a textured card stock underneath.
For my second card I used what I saw the first when looking at the stamp set for the first time. It is a blueberry season here in Finland and it seems that I see blueberries everywhere. I used Mirror Stamping technique to make this card and I also filmed it while I created. But first here is my card:

Stamps and dies used: Golden Garden and Baby Zoo.

For my third card I went to very different way. Firstly, I thought I'd do a white-on-white wedding card but the idea grow while creating. Here is my third card:

Stamps used: Golden Garden, Baby Zoo and Ori Kami.

I think these images are so beautifully sketched that just stamping and leaving them as they are would look very beautiful. I started by stamping the images with Versamark and heat embossing them with Silver embossing powder – I did that twice and fussy cut the other images. Next, I stamped the sentiment with black pigment ink and heat embossed it with Clear embossing powder. Next, I added some colour by inking Frosty Pink and Coral Berry ink onto the left upper corner. I glued the white flowers and leaves with liquid glue and foam tape to give them some dimension. I also added a stripe of Silver glitter paper to the lefthand side to get more contrast and little, tiny flower sequins to finish off my card.
Hopefully you enjoyed and got some inspiration how to use Golden Garden set. Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!

As ever, your cards are extraordinary! Love the doodles in the first card… I need to remember that trick. The Blueberry card is so pleasing in its simplicity. And the third shines in its elegance. By the way, I’m vacationing in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula where there are many people of Finnish heritage… Marquette, Michigan hosted the international Finn Festival in 2005. Plus, it’s Blueberry season, here, too!
Hi Helen! Firstly, it was very delightful to read your comment. Thank you. What a nice thing to learn that there are a Finn Festival. So cool!
