Hi friends!
Svitlana is here. I love working with Altenew's Gradient Cardstock Sets. They're so handy when you work with layered die sets, taking all the guesswork out. Part of this line is the Glitter Cardstock sets, which bring any die-cut element to another level.
The color scheme I choose for this card is yellow and purple. These colors are complementary ones and look quite impressive together. Glitter shine added to the mix made this color combo look luxurious.
Glitter Cardstock Thank You Card
I used the recently released Craft-A-Flower: Carolina Allspice Layering Die Set to die-cut all elements for my card. Using the Summer Afternoon Gradient Cardstock Set for the majority of layers and Golden Beryl glitter paper from Gilded Glitter Cardstock Set for the top layers. After die-cutting all elements, I assembled two flowers and several leaves by stacking the die-cut layers using liquid adhesive.
Creating the glittery background
The background panel I made using a Rhodolite glitter sheet from the Pink Brilliance Glitter Cardstock, which I edged with two strips of Golden Beryl glitter paper from the Gilded Glitter Cardstock Set. Next, I adhered the glitter background onto a purple card base, followed by popping the floral die-cut elements onto it. I used regular and thin black adhesive foam squares to adhere the elements onto the card.
Lastly, I added the sentiment which I die cut using a die from the Craft-A-Flower: Carolina Allspice Layering Die Set out of a Golden Beryl glitter paper from the Gilded Glitter Cardstock Set.
I hope you like the card idea I shared today. Try using Altenew's Glitter Cardstock and Gradient Cardstock sets on your next card making project!
Have a wonderful day!
