Hello, Altenew friends! This is Virginia here. Have you checked out the new release yet? I know it is a lot to take in since there are SO many fabulous stamps, dies, stencils, and inks! Today, we will focus on stamping Geometric Elements Stamp & Die Bundle in 3 cool ways. I hope that you will want to get creative after today's post.
Idea #1: Stamp and/or emboss.
When you first get a stamp set like Geometric Elements, simply stamp or emboss to get the creative juices flowing. The first thing I did with this set was to white-emboss all the images and watercolor them.
With the Altenew Artists Watercolor 24 Pan Set, I had so much fun watercoloring the white-embossed geometric pieces. If you ever want to do swatches with your coloring, I would recommend this set, as well.
Once the pieces were dry, I ran them with my Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine and had lots of colorful pieces to work with. Based on the colors and shapes, I kept them as streamlined as much as possible. I then stamped the sentiment with Fancy Greetings Stamp Set in Antique Gold Pigment Ink.
The colorful geometric shapes do speak volumes. All you need are a few Satin White Sequins to embellish.
Idea #2: When in doubt, repeat the patterns.
In my 2nd card, I embossed the geometric hearts in Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder on Vellum Translucent Paper.
I decided to use the backside of the gold-embossed vellum because it looks like those fancy design papers. I then positioned the water-colored heart piece over along with the stamped sentiment. The card would not be complete without Antique Gold Thread and Sequins!
With this design, you can totally create various themes such as Love, Valentine's Day, Anniversary, Hello, Thank-you, and Congratulations cards.
Idea #3: Stamp a frame with Geometric Elements!
With the triangle stamp, I created a frame by stamping at each corner. Adding a floral design (Build-a-Flower Primrose) really softens the touches. The inks I used for the Primrose are: Hazelnut, Sunray, Marigold, and Razzleberry Crisp Dye Inks.
For the focal point, I gold-embossed the gem-like shape and colored it with Watercolor Brush Markers (Spring Garden).
Can you see the shine!? A little bit of glitter glue (Stickles) goes a long way!
The sentiment from Delicate Flower Bed Stamp Set seemed to perfectly fit the design. They were stamped in Celebrate Paper Pack (6×6) and were cut out.
I added a touch of glitter, and the card really shines like a diamond! It's amazing what stamps and dies can do! I hope this post provides some helpful ideas with Geometric Elements Stamp Set. Thank you for stopping by!

Virginia always creates beautiful cards!!
I am never good at using geometric elements in my projects, but you made it look so effortless! Thanks for sharing the great tips.
Gorgeous cards!

These are so pretty! Love the designs and colors!
Wow, LOVE all three different cards, thanks for sharing multiple ways to use this fabulous Geometric Elements set! I can see this set sitting on my craft desk all the time.
A fabulous lesson on incorporating geometrics and florals. Beautiful designs
Fabulous cards and in striking wonderful colours too, love it.
Awesome geo cards!!!
All three cards are pretty and show the versatility of the set. The card that calls out to me however, is the first card. I like seeing all the different shapes together on one card front. I like all the bright colors together with all the different shapes. The fancy ‘You matter’ is the perfect style as it adds a vintage touch to the modern card.
Nice look at a few ideas for set use. I like the second best.
All of these cards are amazing! But I especially like the miss you one with the hearts!
All the clever ways you used this set have inspired me. Can’t wait to get mine. Especially love the miss you card and the way you combined the geometrics with the floral on the third card.
Cool cards!
Very cool and colorful designs.
These cards pop. Love the color combinations!
