Hello there everyone and happy Tuesday! Today I have a really fun gamer Valentine's card to share using Best Dad Stamp Set. I just love to stretch my stampy stash! And by using sets in a different way than they were designed I can do just that. Also I have to say I had way to much fun coming up with this one.
Just how fun is this card?!?! I just love it, it is change from a non-traditional lovey dovey card. Also I must say great for my husband- who is very much a gamer.
The control pads come from Best Dad Stamp Set. First of all, I stamped them on to a piece of card, coloured and fussy cut them out. Then I added some black twine between them to act as a wire. I pinched the twine to create the top of heart and added some wet glue to keep it in place. Once dry I then arranged the twine into place, the pinched part becoming the top of the heart.
I used Invisible Alpha Stamp Set and Invisible Numbers Stamp Set for the sentiment . The ‘p' and ‘?' come from the alpha set and the rest are from the number set. To create the ‘be my' I used the month stamps from Invisible Numbers Stamp Set. To get the letters I selectively inked them from the words I wanted. I do love how cool and laid back the sentiment looks.
I really hope this inspires you. Also I hope you look back at your stamp sets and see a different way to use them.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you again soon.
