Foiled Floral Frame- Video

by Lydia Evans

Hi there everyone and a very happy Tuesday to you all! It's Lydia here with you today sharing a card mixing my favourite things floral images and gold.

I stamped the beautiful floral spray from Floral Frame in Blush ink into place onto some Moonrock cardstock. I stamped in a light ink so I could do a little no-line colouring. I coloured the image using Copic markers and they do blend nicely on this card. I cut this card layer in my trimmer on a straight line being careful not to cut through my image. Then trimmed around the the top part of the image with scissors.

I did use the MISTI tool to stamp my image so I could stamp over it again, this time I stamped my image using some reactive mist- I applied this to my stamp using a paintbrush. I did the same on my card base with the small doodled circles in the set to create a spray like effect behind my popped up image. Once the mist ‘ink' was dry I ran this through a laminator with some gold foil on top. This gave a beautiful foiled out line.

I added some super sticky tape on the card base just behind where the card layer would sit and added some foil to this, I found that this helped the image ‘pop' a little more. The sentiment comes from ‘Celebrate', I just love this little set of sentiments that works well for my different cards.

If you would like to watch a step by step on how to created this card please check out the video below.

Reactive Mist and Reactive Paint are Heidi Swapp “Minc” products.

Just watched the video and I too am wondering what is reactive mist and where do
I find it? I looked in the Altenew store but it said no results for reactive mist? Has anyone else seen this product somewhere?
