The Rose in this set is easy to color. Here I applied some Red and yellow water colors using Inktense pencils. It is not perfect, but I think it works well contrasted with the detailed lace strip (washi tape) and the black sentiment strip (sentiment from Dodecagram). I adhered these two strips on to the card base, then adhered two white panels above and top using foam tape. The Rose is adhered to the white panels.

Given it's large size, the Rose can easily be used for projects beyond cards. I personally make a lot of wall arts to give as presents, and this set works perfectly for an easy and quick personalized gift. Here is an example of how I used this set to make a framed painting with a personalized message:

I used smooth Bristol for my base, and stamped the Rose assembly. Using Peerless water colors I colored the image with quick strokes, leaving some white spaces. I went over the edges in some places to give the image a free flowing look. I am not an expert in water color painting, but I think the Sketchy nature of this image does half the work for me :) I finished the painting with a splatter of Gold color shine.

Sometimes I need oversize cards when a lot of people wish to sign together. Having large stamp images makes it easier to design such cards. In the card above, I stamped the Rose several times near the bottom of a Neenah Solar white panel. I colored them using Copic markers (Y13 and Y15), added a ribbon and a sentiment banner (sentiment from Dodecagram), then adhere it to a 8″ x 5.5″ card base using foam tape.

On this card, Jen colored the Rose three times and layered various sections for three layers of dimension! She scored the card base along the outside edge to give the card an interesting detail. The Rose is sitting on black glitter card stock, which were adhered at an angle to complement the angle of the Rose. The sentiment is from our Super Script set, and it was stamped on white card stock, trimmed and adhered with foam tape.
