Hi Everyone! It's Flóra here and I am very excited to share my first project on the Altenew blog. I hope you will like it. ;-)
For this project I decided to create my own die cut embellishments with the Beautiful Day and Label Love stemp sets. Last weekend me and my friend visited the gorgeous San Marino in Italy so I urgently had to document this unforgettable memory.
I am in love with this wonderful big flower from the Beautiful Day stamp set, love all the layers but this time I wanted to keep my flowers as simple as possible so I didn't use the layers in the same time. First I stamped the outline of the image with Jet Black ink and then filled up with colors. I chose yellow and pink shades as they are my favorite colors nowadays, they were: Mango Smoothie, Warm Sunshine, Frosty Pink, Cotton Candy.
For the leaves I used Forest Glades and Frayed Leaf inks. I am very glad to own the Beautiful Day Die Set, this makes life so much easier. After cutting out all the flower and leaves I adhered them with double sided and foam tape. With this technique I was able to make nice 3D layering.
In the end I added the title, some white and rose enamel dots and my journaling. It's very simple layout but the big die cuts make it eye catching.
If you are interested how I put together the layout check out my process video.
I hope like my layout! Have a nice day and see you next week!
