Add That Extra Shine Without a Mess Using Glitter Paper!

by Virginia Lu

Hello Altenew friends! This is Virginia here. Today's project will pique your interest if you love adding shimmer and shine to your projects. Better yet, it will NOT leave you with a glitter mess! We are using Altenew Glitter Gradient Cardstock! It is best to share how I use glitter paper to add shine through this Build-a-Garden Bougainvillea

Making It Shine With Glitter Paper

This stamp and die set covers the entire A2 card size. I am using the technique called “Inlaid Die-cutting”. This is where the stamped or die-cut image and glitter cardstock become seamless.

08-29-2023-Build-A-Garden Frilly Begonia-Glitter Gradient Cardstock Set - Golden Sunrise (3)I made two cards with the Build-a-Garden Bougainvillea by using two variations with the Glitter Cardstock. “Thanks for all you do” card has just one strip of Glitter Gradient Cardstock (Golden Sunrise) as accent.

Glitter PaperI hope you will now look at dies and Glitter Cardstock with fresh eyes. You will be amazed once you try out the Inlaid Die-cutting. This happens to be my last post as a design team member. I am honored and privileged to share numerous projects with unique Altenew products since 2017. Thank you for your wonderful feedback and support over the years. I wish you all happy crafting and stay happy and healthy.

Lovely card Virginia! I love the partial die cutting technique thst you used. It is perfect for the large bougainvillea cluster. The Gradient Glitter card stock color is so pretty with the soft red tones of the bougainvillea. I have enjoyed your cards and all the wonderful things you have shown on your wonderful blog.
