Hello friends, Yana is here. Altenew never ceases to amaze me with their products and today I'd like to showcase a card featuring Spicy Yogurt cardstock.
I first saw my friend Sveta use it on her gorgeous card and it really caught my eye. Its a nice step aside from the usual white or cream and all of that earthy texture is just lovely.
As always, I used a few of my favorites to create this card starting with the antique trim – Fenstone Decorative Element; I foam mounted it onto the card base and mounted the Hello die cut on top.
I used black pigment ink and stamped Hello 3 times using my Mini Misti, covered with clear embossing powder and die cut using a matching die. Adding clear embossing over black made the die cut glossy and shiny.
I also used the Peony Scrolls stamps and dies and die cut several leaves out of watercolor paper. I heat embossed them in gold and watercolored using Olive Green watercolors from the Daniel Smith Watercolor Sampler sheet. I tucked those under the bold Hello and adhered using Multi Medium adhesive in Matte.
Lastly, I used a You've Got This Sentiment from the Thinking of You set, heat embossed it in gold onto Yogurt cardstock and layered over the embellishment cluster.
