Hello, crafty friends!
Svitlana is here today sharing three cards featuring the new stunning Modern Swans Stamp Set. I'm a huge fan of realistic images, and this set is one of those. I love how beautiful and elegant the swans are.
QUICK AND EASY CARD
My first card was quite quick and easy to make as I used products here which are very handy if you need to quickly create a card – washi tape and patterned paper.
I used the Peach Gold Wide Washi Tape to create the front panel of my card. I die cut a circle window in it using a die from the Halftone Nesting Circles Die Set and then adhered a Vellum Translucent Paper piece to the back side of the panel.
After that, I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.
I cut several rose clusters out of a Reflection 6×6 Paper Pack sheet and adhered them all around the swan.
Lastly, I popped up the sentiment stamped using the Silver Stone Crisp Dye Ink.
EASY EMBOSSED BACKGROUND AND A POP OF COLOR
The background was made by embossing a light blue cardstock using the Garden Harmony 3D Embossing Folder. After embossing, I blended the Eastern Sky and Ultramarine Crisp Dye Inks onto the top part of it. For additional interest, I added some Pure White Ink Spray splatters.
I trimmed the panel from the bottom and foam mounted onto a white card base. After that, the swans was popped up onto the card.
To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment in the bottom right part of the card base using the Ultramarine Crisp Dye Ink and added several red enamel dots from the New Day Card Kit Enamel Dots to accentuate the card.
I added the dots for a pop a color and to tie with the swan beaks. The dots, even though small, add a lot of interest to the card.
DRAMATIC LAKE SCENE
For my last card, I went a bit (or a lot) dramatic creating a night swan lake scene.
To make the moon, I die cut a circle out of a Masking Paper using a die from the Halftone Nesting Circles Die Set, applied it onto a white panel and blended the Ultramarine and Azurite Crisp Dye Inks onto it. After that, I removed the mask revealing the huge moon.
The swans were white embossed onto a Jet Black Cardstock, the same way I did the branches using the Under the Cherry Blossom Tree Stamp & Die Bundle. All said elements were foam mounted onto the card.
Lastly, I made a white embossed sentiment onto a black strip and popped it up onto the card.
I hope you like the ideas I shared today for this awesome stamp set. It can be a great addition to any craft stash. You can make birthday, missing you, thinking of you cards using it. And much more.
Have a wonderful day!
