A Banner Day Simple Coloring Stencil Set and 3D Embossing Folder
Do you want to add a banner full of greenery to your projects? This simple coloring stencil set coordinates with the A Banner Day 3D Embossing Folder. Every day spent crafting is a banner day! Add a trendy banner full of greenery to your projects with this fun stencil set. It can be used on its own or with the coordinating 3D embossing folder for additional texture.
These products effectively spotlight a sentiment for any occasion with that cool banner highlight. Today, I wanted to create a simple and easy wedding card that makes the banner pop!
Simple and Easy Wedding Card Idea with Stencils and Embossing Folder
To start, I embossed the banner using the A Banner Day 3D Embossing Folder onto white cardstock.
Using the coordinating stencils, I blended some Coral Bliss Ink onto the card front. Using a Mini Blending Brush, I added a darker color around the shadow areas to create depth.
I used Sentiment Strips and Sentiment Strips 2 to add the sentiments on the banner.
TIP! I curved each stamp onto my acrylic block to get that effect.
I wanted to give the leafy part of the stencil a different look, so using the stencil, I added some Embossing Paste to those areas and sprinkled them with some glitter I had in my stash.
I left a few leaves white just for a more clean look for the wedding vibe.
To finish off this easy wedding card, I added some of Altenew's Black Enamel Dots.
Designer's Tips!
Although the banner image (from both the embossing folder and the stencil set) looks amazing on its own, die-cutting will give it an extra bit of pop!
