Hey there! It's Laurie here with a super easy thank you card using the latest Build-A-Garden: Tulips and Friends.
I just love this stamp set and coordinating stencils that add in color. The new Build-A-Garden stamp sets have large floral images that will fill up a card front, and I just love that. These tulips are so beautiful and so easy to create!
Easy Thank You Card
To create this card, I grabbed a white card front that is just 1/4″ smaller than my A2 coral card base. I stamped out the tulips on a full sheet of paper to decide what area I wanted to use for the main card area.
After stamping, I used the stencils to go back in and add color. Using Altenew's amazing Blending Brush, I added color with the Tea Party Inks. I love how easy it is!
Next, I laid the large image on the front of the card panel and turned it around until I had the perfect placement. I attached it to the card front with foam tape. Using scissors, I trimmed off the pieces from around the white card front except for the little piece of yellow blooms in the top right. I left those little flowers just for some extra dimension.
To complete the thank you card, I stamped the sentiment along the side in Obsidian Ink. After this was complete, I realized it needed one more little detail, so I added the leaf behind the blooms.
I hope you enjoy today's project! So glad you stopped in today!
