Hey there! It's Laurie Willison here with an Easy One Layer Thank You Card Inspiration.
You know I do love a good quick and easy card, and of course, I love the rainbow of ink colors available to us from Altenew. Their inks are my absolute favorite! I keep them organized with mailing labels on each end and then swiped with each ink. The inks come in sets of four which make it perfect for the gorgeous layering stamps from Altenew. With each ink labeled, it makes it so easy to grab the colors I want!
I love this area of my desk with all the bright colors and that fun banner created with Altenew supplies! You can find the banner details in THIS past post over on my blog, Soapbox Creations!
Easy One Layer Thank You Card Inspiration
Today's thank you card inspiration was made using another “set” of Altenew inks that is one I reach for quite often.
Keep scrolling to check out my favorite rainbow of Altenew inks. I love a soft “crafty” color-filled rainbow and I used them to make this quick and easy thank you card inspiration.
World Map is a go-to stamp set of mine for making simple thank you notes.
After placing the dotted world image in my MISTI, I used makeup blending sponges from the Dollar Tree to add ink directly to the stamp. The inks I used in my favorite Altenew Rainbow are Coral Bliss, Chamomile, Butternut, Parrot, Volcano Lake, and Lavender Fields.
With the World Map inked up, I stamp the image down and can go back in and add more inks if I need to.
Stamping the rainbow in reverse order is also a fun way to change up your typical color order. To finish the card, I stamped “Thank You” in Obsidian Ink and then layered the card front onto a white card base. Super simple!
The color combos are endless with all of the Altenew Inks that are available. What is your go-to color combo? Comment below!
Thanks for coming by today! I hope you enjoyed this easy one layer thank you card inspiration. Have a great day!
