Hey everyone! It's Laurie here today with a fun and easy ink blending tool background trick! All you need is one of Altenew's amazing Ink Blending Tools and you can add some fun texture to your card fronts.
How to Create an Ink Blending Tool Background on a Card
To create this card, I used one of Altenew's Ink Blending Tools along with some Purple Wine ink. After adding ink evenly onto the blending brush, I placed the brush straight down onto the cardstock and did a little spin to create this easy ink blending tool background. Try this same technique to cover a background using different ink colors, to make basic polka dots, or like I did here, to make a simple area of color.
Using Mix and Match Mariposa Die set, I die cut three of the butterfly outlines in black cardstock. I placed one on each spot and finished them off with Black Enamel Dots. To add a little more detail to the card front, I added some Delicate Stripes Washi Tape across the middle of the card. Finishing the card off was easy with the Framed Congrats Die. I simply snipped off the frame and used that adorable sentiment in black cardstock.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Hope you enjoyed today's quick and simple card! Have a great day!
