How to Create an Ink Blending Tool Background on a Card

To create this card, I used one of Altenew's Ink Blending Tools along with some Purple Wine ink. After adding ink evenly onto the blending brush, I placed the brush straight down onto the cardstock and did a little spin to create this easy ink blending tool background.  Try this same technique to cover a background using different ink colors, to make basic polka dots, or like I did here, to make a simple area of color.

AltenewUsing Mix and Match Mariposa Die set, I die cut three of the butterfly outlines in black cardstock.  I placed one on each spot and finished them off with Black Enamel Dots. To add a little more detail to the card front, I added some Delicate Stripes Washi Tape across the middle of the card.  Finishing the card off was easy with the Framed Congrats Die.  I simply snipped off the frame and used that adorable sentiment in black cardstock.
