Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese.
Today's post shares two floral card ideas to create clean and simple designs using one stamped image! In this card project, I used the beautiful Build-A-Garden: Magnificent Branch.
You can create two card fronts at once with this first-of-its-kind floral stamp set! The imaginative set features a magnificent tree branch bearing flowers that you wouldn't normally see together in nature. Cut the design just right for a card featuring the cupped rose and another card featuring the flat rose. Stamp the heartwarming sentiments and quotes to inspire your loved ones.
How to Make 2 Floral Cards with One Stamp
This floral image is the perfect choice to make two floral card designs as the image is large and can be easily cut into two.
PRO TIP: You could instead, use both of these flowers on one card to make a less clean and simple design.
This set has a coordinating Layering Stencil Set, which made it quick and easy to add color even though it's such a big image.
I love the ‘white space' on both of these floral cards! But I also like how the Obisidian Ink really pops with the stamped splatters and sentiment from the Inky Bouquet Stamp Set.
The thing that I am excited about the most is that there is now a Build-A-Flower: Magnificent Branch Add-On Die.
This made me breathe a sigh of relief as I am not a huge fan of fussy cutting, especially a delicate image such as this.
I added a layered Mega Hello die-cut to the front of this card. To me, it almost looks like a deep embossed word with the tone-on-tone white.
And finally, I added a sweet little sentiment from the Blossom Wreath Stamp Set.
