Hello friends! Svitlana here with an easy die-cut floral card!
The card I want to share today is not typical for me. Usually, I go with bolder color choices. In fact, when I started making this card I thought it would end up on the bolder side as well. But it happened to be the opposite. It even has some spring feel, which was totally accidental.
Easy Die-Cut Floral Card with Spring Feel
I started making my card by die-cutting elements for my floral focal element using the Craft-A-Flower: Orion Geranium using the Green Meadows and New Purple Gradient Cardstock Sets. After die-cutting, I assembled two flowers and several leaves by gluing corresponding layers together.
For additional interest, I made these elements of different “shades” by picking up gradient cardstock sheets of different color intensities for different elements.
When it came to choosing the background color, I decided to go with a complementary color to purple; I chose yellow.
To add some interest to the background I decided to adhere the Graph Die Cut Tape onto the yellow panel. This made it look quite spring-y and cozy, if you will. To be honest, it was kind of a revelation for me, that this tape is a great way to make a cozy Gingham-like background (imagine using it with other colors as well).
I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base using the Instant Dimension Foam Tape. Followed by adhering the die-cut elements onto it. Next, I popped up a white-embossed-on-black sentiment onto the card. The sentiment was made using Halftone Hearts Stamp and Die Sets.
Lastly, I added several yellow and black sequins to accentuate the card.
I hope you like this easy die-cut floral card with spring feel that I shared today. We still have a lot of wintertime ahead. But I'm sure many of you are already thinking about spring-themed cards.
Have a wonderful day!

Svitlana, this is not your usual dramatic design, but still very, very pretty – and we all need a promise of Spring these days!
