Hello Altenew friends! It's Laurie here with a quick and easy card idea with lots of shine.
Two things I love in Altenew's crafty supply lineup are their hot foil plates and their Brushed Metallic Cardstock. Put these 2 things together with some shiny hot foil, and you can create simple, elegant cards.
Easy Card Idea: Add Shine with Hot Foil Plates and Metallic Cardstock
To create this card front, I used the Golden Days Hot Foil Plate and some Rose Gold Foil on a piece of pale pink cardstock. Altenew has a stencil that you can purchase to color in this big, gorgeous bloom, but I wanted to keep it simple with the colors of cardstock and foil.
After cutting the pink card front down to 3 1/2′ x 4 3/4″, I added it to a white card base with foam tape.
The dimension of the card front from the card base really makes your cards pop!
To finish off the card, I used Altenew's Brushed Rose Metallic Cardstock and die cut “hello” from Simple Greetings Die Set. The shine in that cardstock is amazing! Cutting a second layer of fun foam to back the cardstock helps give dimension to the sentiment.
