Hello crafty friends!
Svitlana is here. Today I want to share with you an idea of a quick bold duo-chromatic card featuring a floral stamp from the recent release as well as a couple of design tricks to add interest to a card.
The floral stamp set in question is the Blossom & Bloom Stamp Set. It's a beautiful outline set, perfect for coloring. The coloring part of the card was probably the most time-consuming. But this set is quite easy to color, so it's still didn't take much time.
I stamped the flower onto a Solar White Cardstock using the Permanent Black Ink and then colored it using Artist Markers. I chose the blue and yellow color story for this card, using markers from the English Country and Sunshine Valley Sets correspondingly.
After that, the floral element was die-cut using the matching die.
Then I selected cardstock matching the chosen color combo to create a card base and the front panel of the card.
I added texture to the card base front part using the Walnut Branch 3D Embossing Folder.
Another detail that I added to the card is the torn top edge of the yellow panel as well as a jute twine wrapped around it.
All these additional touches were quick to implement and they added some interest to the card.
I foam mounted the yellow panel onto the card base, followed by foam mounting the floral piece on top.
To finish off the card I added a white embossed onto a Jet Black Cardstock strip sentiment from the Birthday Greetings Stamp Set.
I hope you like the card as well as the card accents ideas I shared today. Have a wonderful day!
