Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here, and today I would like to share with you an idea for Easter paper decorations. These are fun and easy to create and perfect to enhance your home all season long.
A few years back, I created some Christmas ornaments using Altenew die-cuts. You can click HERE to follow the whole process. I used exactly the same technique to create my paper eggs decorations.
I started by die-cutting 20 eggs using Pysanka Die out of white A4 paper folded twice for speeding up the process. Once all the pieces were cut, I folded each one in half. I used a paper clip to hold 10 folded die-cuts together and applied glue down the spine of the egg. I repeated the process with the other 10 pieces, attached a thread hanger, put two parts of my egg together, and let it dry for a while. Once the glue was dried, I slowly fanned out all the panels to create a 3D shape of my egg.
Next, I used Altenew Ink Sprays to add color to my decorations. I sprayed them lightly from one side to create a kind of ombre effect.
A vase of decorated branches is always my favorite way to add a festive feel to the home.
Thank you for stopping by today!
