Project Inspiration
Today, I'll be sharing a double selective stenciling technique using some of the new products.
To start I stamped one of the large images from In The Woodland Stamp Set onto a panel of white cardstock. I then took Color Swatches Stencil and added some ink blended squares over the image. The inks I used for this were Cotton Candy, Sunkissed, Citrus Burst, Bamboo, Mountain Mist, and Wisteria Crisp Dye Inks. I then placed the first coloring stencil from In The Woodland Simple Coloring Stencil Set into place on the image. Then I used the same square stencil I lined this up over the previously ink blended piece and inked over again. As one stencil is masking out one part and the other stencil is on top this is where we get the double selective stenciling. This time I used Coral Berry, Orange Cream, Fresh Lemon, Parrot, Volcano Lake, and Hydrangea Crisp Dye Inks.
I then repeated this step using the other layered stencils. For the second layer the inks used were Ruby Red, Autumn Blaze, Honey Drizzle, Olive, Lagoon, and Ultraviolet. The third layer used Vineyard Berry, Firebrick, Yellow Ochre, Moss, and Teal Cave Inks. For the fourth layer I just used the residue from the inks left on the blending tools.
I also added a little splatter using Jet Black Ink Spray. The sentiment is from Note For You Stamp Set. I stamped this using Embossing Ink onto a piece of Jet Black Cardstock and heat set using Pure White Embossing Powder. This was die cut using the coordinating die.

Love the looks of the color swatches!!
I love all your products. I want them all. I am in the middle of the six lesson layering course. Once I complete all the lessons I will narrow down and prioritize my selections since I cannot afford everything I want. Thanks for the lessons and all the inspiration.
