Hi! It's Flóra here. Do you know we have a monthly challenge here on the Altenew blog? This time Yana Smakula brought a new pretty mood board with a wedding theme. The best timing as summer is full of wedding parties. So pull out your favorite memories from a wedding or even your own wedding photo and document it! Altenew has so many elegant stamp sets, so easy to create such a layout with them.
This is my take on the July Inspiration Challenge. I was totally inspired by the theme and Yana's gorgeous card.
I chose the Woodgrain White cardstock for my base. I like that it is still white and simple but the texture gives a special touch to your project. The main star of my layout is the Botanical Garden stamp set. I was thinking a lot how to stamp with it, what kind of color should I use. In the end I decided to use heat embossing technique with gold embossing powder.
The title was created with the Super Script stamp set and matching die and Cotton Candy Ink. Under the title I added some tiny sentiments what fit to the theme. The Happy Wedding comes from Vintage Roses set, the Mr. and Mrs. can be found in From The Desk Of set. For embellishing I used an Oval Baroque Frame and few half pearls with matching colors.
I hope you like my new project. Don't forget to check out the July Inspiration Challenge and participate!
