Hey!
Happy Saturday, happy weekend and for those of you celebrating it, Happy Halloween! It's Aimes here today with a fun little card that's anything but spooky and demonstrates a fun and easy way to add a little dimension to the fabulous Ori Kami stamp set.
I've played around with the paper folding form of Origami, and I thought it would be fun to capture that paper-folding dimension with this stamp set. I simply stamped the butterfly twice, cut them both out and cut all the wings from one image. Then I folded these wings and carefully pieced them back onto the original butterfly to add that fun dimension.
Of course, this design couldn't be complete without a sentiment from my favourite sentiment set of all time, Label Love. Love. This. Set. :)
You may also notice that I stamped the same butterfly image onto the blue panel of paper using VersaMark ink for a subtle background to complement the design. So easy and it really does make a difference (Note to self: take a before and after picture!)
Well that's all from me today. I hope that you have a lovely weekend and thank you so much for stopping by!

Lovely card, love how you added a glossy sheen to the sentiment too :-)
Interesting card, as I have that stamp set you have shown me a great way to use it…love the soft hint in the background, very nice.
